Graeme Dunstan, captain of the
PeaceBus, writes that the 152nd commemoration of the Eureka Stockade (see
our coverage of the original uprising of 1854) was partly stymied by the local council withdrawing funding, apparently because the event had drawn the friends of David Hicks.
Graeme's account makes fascinating reading.
