Thanks to Dave and N? who both posted very helpful comments to my post about Blogger problems. I'm now well on the way to resolution.

I would have posted this thankyou in my Comments section of that post, but for a few weeks I haven't been able to post comments on any blogspot blog. I can write in a comment, and perform the word verification, but no Send button appears in the Comments form. Never. Nix. Ixnay. Zilch. Nothing to click. Zip.
