Australian Constitution and ego-politics

There are no words from the verb 'to lead' in the Aussie Constitution, while there are 60-plus from the verb 'to represent'. Yet Australian politicians call themselves 'leaders', and so do the media. Also, there is no prime minister even mentioned.
