Bagism begins

1968 At a Christmas party called 'An Alchemical Wedding', put on by Arts Lab at the Albert Hall in London, John Lennon and Yoko Ono appeared – or not – inside a large bag.

This was the start of what Ono termed 'bagism', the intent of which was to satirize prejudice and stereotyping ...
