March 2010 marks the seventh anniversary of the invasion and occupation of Iraq. This year also marks nine years of the West’s occupation of Afghanistan. Both wars of aggression were initiated by a US-led imperial coalition. Despite clear majorities opposing Australian involvement in these occupations, the Rudd government is committed to continuing the US-Australia war alliance.
