Alfred Hitchcock Holocaust documentary a timely reminder
Alfred Hitchcock was involved in the production of this 53-minute video documentary that the British government deemed too grisly to show the public after WWII.
It is indeed harrowing, showing as it does a lot of footage of what the Germans did to the Jews in concentration camps. The images are beyond shocking, and far worse than I had ever seen before, but an important reminder of what can happen to civilized societies. Hitler began his evil by taking away civil liberties, turning democracy into dictatorship -- just as recounted by Naomi Wolf as posted here recently.
