Pat Dodson on Australia's 'Sorry'
"It takes courage to apologise, it takes courage to forgive, it takes courage to begin a journey when the destination is imagined and not known," a former chairman of the Council for Aboriginal Reconciliation, Pat Dodson, said. "The reality of the apology, I hope, signals a far deeper intent to remedy the situation quickly with the participation of the Aboriginal leadership."
