Boycott crystals and ban trade in them

Gaia plunder at its worst. I was rather horrified to see in a health food shop yesterday that people are still selling crystals. I've been opposed to this trade for many years, but had been lulled into a false sense of security.

When some people see rock crystals, perhaps they see some kind of household decoration with which to impress people. What I see is sweaty men with crowbars and gelignite, destroying magnificent caves and wilderness grottoes that take millions of years to form. Surely it's time that these precious wonders of Nature were treated as endangered species, and trade in crystals banned.

It seems to me that crystals aren't even on the agenda of major environmental organizations -- and I believe that nothing will happen until conscious people lobby their groups to do something about it. New Age stores have a lot to answer for, too, and boycotts are one way to stop this senseless and awful trade that violates Mother Earth in a very cynical fashion. Spread the word!
