Sydney will have Earth Hour tonight
"The Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House will be plunged into darkness for Saturday night's Earth Hour, with thousands of businesses and private homes also due to switch off their lights to make an environmental point.
"About 1,900 businesses and 53,000 homes have pledged to turn their lights off for an hour as part of a unified effort to cut Sydney's greenhouse gas emissions by five per cent in the next 12 months.
"Sydney landmarks like the Opera House, Sydney Tower, the harbour bridge [sic], Luna Park and Kings Cross' [sic] Coca-Cola sign will also flick the lights off at 7.30pm (AEST) on Saturday for an hour, Earth Hour organiser WWF Australia said."
