Help save a historic village
Catherine Hill Bay, one of the world's great historic mining villages and a beautiful hamlet on the Pacific coast of New South Wales, is under threat from developers whose inappropriate plan is to increase the population tenfold. The only ones who will profit will be the corporations.
Catherine Hill Bay is a heritage village of about 100 mainly small miners' cottages, whose scale, character and appearance is much as it was in the 1890s and early 1900s, soon after coal mining was established.
