I must have at least 50 or 100 miniature watermelon flowers on five plants. They're very pretty too. Now I have the first melon, about golf-ball size. These fruit grow to about the size of a rockmelon (aka canteloupe in USA).
The flowers are a glorious shade of yellow but washed out in this strong Aussie sunlight, even on a cloudy day like today -- should have photographed at dawn or dusk.
