No-dig garden update Jan1/07,

Day 71 of the no-dig garden: Beefsteak tomatoes, and at right, cherry tomatoes which came from the same punnet of seedlings as the big tomatoes ... wonder what happened at the plant nursery or if this came from cross-pollination, as I do have some small cherry tomato seedlings running along the ground. Two cobs of corn behind the tommy-artoes. Go to last No-dig garden update December 12/06 and that will take you to all updates and the beginning. The mini-watermelons have 50-100 flowers and one fruit about the size of a hen's egg. I'll post a shot of that at my flickr tomorrow if possible.
