New no-dig garden, Bellingen, November 08
It's ready after a year fallow. In the last two weeks I've planted seedlings and I will update with pix as they grow. The site is in shade of an enormous liquidambar tree so my expectations are low. Liquidambars not only shade the soil, and their roots suck up the nutrients, the tons of leaves they drop are not good for Australian soil biology because they are a foreign tree. Still, with luck I'll get some vegies this summer.
