My busted specs

Two days ago I lost a lens from my glasses and it will be a week before I get a new pair, says the optometrist. That's one reason I'm not doing a lot of emailing or blogging (I have a lot of items I want to post here, but can't) -- and it explains my headaches.

I'm trying to make do with a very old pair of specs that I usually keep in my fishing creel in order not to lose my proper, expensive glasses in the river. They're about ten years old and not much good at all for my eyes these days. So, please will you bear with this old blind fella?
