Patti Smith sings Zimmy's 'Changing of the Guards'

Bob Dylan's 'Changing of the Guards' (1978) is still my favourite song dealing with past, the present, the future, Eden and Apocalypse (I guess there aren't too many such songs, but not everyone is Bobby).

The Lovely Miss Patti Smith acquits herself very well in this accomplished version, if not as freakingly racy as Bob's, and here below is a not quite as good live version from YouTube, sung last year at Christiania.
