The population explosion is the elephant in the room. The Right won't talk about it for obvious reasons. (More people means more utilities and commodities to sell to them.) The Left won't touch the issue with a barge pole for its own set of twisted reasons, especially the fear that discussion of population will detract from leftist analysis of economic determinism. When Left and Right agree on an issue, the rest of us are fucked. It's almost impossible to wedge any issue in through the chink in their wall.

So let's get population back on the agenda as it was in the 1970s when everyone had ZPG on their lips. The planet is drowning in the excrement of its own humanity, as our species is out-breeding all others.

ZPG and Permaculture are the two keys to solving our problems of war and scarcity. Unless you have the Rapture in mind.
