By the way, speaking of Vs. Have you noticed that kids now say "verse" instead of "versus"? I had a debate about it with my son, then later discovered other young people saying it, so maybe it wasn't ignorance, but a trend -- or perhaps a trend based on ignorance. Either way, I find it rather grating, but if I'm here in 100 years I'll probably have forgotten the original. Language changes, whether we like it or not, and often based on error. For example, "a newt" was orginally "an ewt".
