Whale found deep in Brazilian rainforest

I have been told of dolphins at Fernmount near Bellingen, a 4-metre tiger shark at Lavender's Bridge in Bellingen, and a man catching saltwater bream two miles west of Bellingen. The map shows how far these places are from the ocean.

These are local tales, unconfirmed by me but told but eye witnesses, in my local district. Nothing, however, can come close to this one:

"An 18-foot minke whale ran aground on a sandbar in the Amazon jungle some 1,000 miles from the ocean, Brazilian media reported Friday."
