1953 John Christie was sentenced to death for the murder of four women, whose bodies he had kept at his home in west London. His neighbour and tenant Timothy Evans had been found guilty of a murder for which it is generally considered Christie was responsible, and was hanged on March 9, 1950.Pip Wilson posted item above at 9:08 AM | Permalink
