Vale Chris Green

Om shanti. My mate Chris Green died last night. Chris produced more than 300 Wilson's Almanac Book of Days programs for radio, at no charge, and, despite the hard work, we had a lot of fun and camaraderie in the studio doing them. Very quickly we became like old friends and our friendship continued to grow and deepen. Thank you, mate.

Chris was a barrister, a brilliant and versatile musician, a 'people person' who attracted loyalty, admiration and affection from untold numbers of people -- and he had one of the sharpest intellects I have ever known. One of Nature's gentlemen, Chris will be sorely missed by his beautiful wife, Jenny, and so many people who are grieving today. Om shanti shanti shanti.
