Google Maps now has Australian site
You know how you can go to Google Maps and type in an American street address and it will magically appear on the map? Now you can do it with Australian addresses, at Google Maps Australia.
Which is appropriate, seeing the original Google Maps team is from Australia, acording to Google Operating System, which adds:
"Australia celebrates its national day on 26 January and Google decided to do something special for this event: get high-resolution images for Google Maps / Google Earth."
