A very useful free Net resource

Highly recommended
Here's something that many people will find very useful. PureText is a smooth, 13kb device that lets you paste from formatted text straight into another document without the formatting (such as colours, bold, italics, hyperlinks, and so on).

A dip of the ol' lid to Wyoming, USA Almaniac Diana Schuetz, who contributes a huge amount to the Almanac project by regular proofreading of the Book of Days. She suggested PureText to me, and now I use it most days. Highly recommended. Thanks also to Steven Miller who invented PureText and made it free to the world. Must be as nice as he is clever. He has other apps here -- all freeware.
