In the town of Nola, near Naples, Italy, people commemorate their famous son, Paulinus, today. He had a miraculous dream while in Africa, where Vandals had taken him as a slave. The king, impressed by this dream, sent Paulinus home, where he and his companions were met by the people of Nola bearing lilies.
