Desperate and just plain nasty

It seems that Prime Minister John Howard presumes to be able to read the mind of Kevin Rudd during this Australian election campaign. He launched an awkwardly expressed ad hominem attack on the Opposition Leader, saying the "hollow" Labor Party was "led by a man whose core beliefs are obscure and unknown to the Australian public -- and perhaps to he himself".
