Old Bellingen pictures

My town, Bellingen, is on the Bellinger River (the two are spelled thus).

Here's a 19th-Century drawing of Indigenous people spearing fish in the Bellinger. The picture is by Clement Hodgkinson, c. 1818-'93.

And here's a black & white photo of the river by Frank Hurley (1885-1962) which looks like it was taken at about the same place (Fernmount) as I took this colour shot. It hasn't changed much, thankfully.
