TV show on David Hicks

Well, we've been beating the drum for David Hicks for five years now. Five years ago, we were hearing no echoes. Now, many Australians are coming to see that it's wrong that the Australian Government has connived with the Bush administration to incarcerate an Australian for five years in Guantanamo, without trial.

Now even Ray Martin, a conservative Australian TV identity, has made a program called 'Caged Animal, David Hicks: A Nation's Shame'. Martin has a high profile and enjoys credibility to Mr and Mrs Average, so perhaps the word will spread further afield, that torture and denial of basic civil and humjan rights are unacceptable.
